MiCode is a software company in Gdańsk that builds enterprise systems with AI inside them. That sentence is on our home page, and this article is the long version of it: what we have actually shipped, what we sell, how a project with us starts, and the registration data you would look up anyway.

One caveat first, in the spirit of the rest of this blog: this is a description of a company, not a case study. There are no client names and no revenue figures here. Everything below is something you can verify yourself — an app in a store, a public repository, a live site, or a number in a public register.

What we ship for ourselves

Six products, built and maintained by us. They are the reason we can say we work with AI rather than that we follow it.

AI Budget Assistant — a mobile app for tracking expenses by voice, by scanning a receipt, or by hand. Published on Google Play, source on GitHub, site at ai-budget.pl.

Accounting AI Agent — an assistant for accounting work under Polish tax rules. SaaS, source on GitHub, site at eKsiegowyAi.pl.

Legalka KB — a Telegram bot for people relocating to Poland. It answers strictly from a verified knowledge base and cites the law and real applicant experience behind each answer; when the base has nothing, it says so instead of guessing.

Marketing AI assistant — a marketing automation platform: content, campaigns, email, analytics. SaaS, source on GitHub, site at eMarketingAI.pl.

ngx-open-web-ui-chat — an npm component that drops an AI chat into an Angular application. Open source, installable today.

Testing AI Assistant — a platform for orchestrating automated tests: execution, generation, quality assurance.

Four of the six have public repositories. One is on npm. Three have their own production sites. None of that is a claim about scale — it is a claim about existence, and it is the kind you can check in a minute.

Why our own products are the relevant credential

There is a lot of AI consultancy on the market where the consultant has never had to keep an AI system running after the invoice cleared. Running six of our own changes what we know. We have had to answer, for ourselves and with our own money, the questions a client asks: what this costs per month, what happens when the model changes under you, what a RAG bot should do when the knowledge base has no answer, and how you tell a hallucination from a fact before a user does.

That is also why this blog is full of numbers and formulas rather than opinions. The cost model, the RAG architecture, the agent orchestration pieces — those are write-ups of decisions we made on our own products first.

What we sell

Three lines, and they are deliberately narrow:

- Custom software development — systems in Java/Spring Boot and Angular, from requirements through to deployment. - IT systems integration — connecting ERP, CRM, and internal systems over REST APIs. - Cloud solutions — migrating and tuning cloud infrastructure.

AI is not a fourth line, because it is not a separate product. It goes inside the system we are already building for you, or it does not belong in the project at all.

How a project with us starts

Five steps, and the first two carry the only promises worth making before we know your problem:

1. Intro conversation — we learn your goals, constraints, and timeline. It is free, and in whatever format suits you. 2. Proposal — a written scope, timeline, and price, within three business days. 3. Development — iterative, with regular demos and your feedback at every milestone. 4. Delivery — handover of a working system. 5. Support — we stay with it afterwards.

Three business days for a written quote is the one commitment we will make before hearing anything about your project, and we hold it.

The dull facts

MiCode Sp. z o.o., founded in 2024 by an engineer with 18+ years of IT experience. Registered at Jana Heweliusza 11 lok. 811, 80-890 Gdańsk, Poland. NIP 5833510147, REGON 528740633. Industry: IT services and software development.

The stack we work in daily is Java, Spring Boot, Angular, and the AI tooling around them. If your problem is in a stack we do not work in, we will tell you that in the intro call rather than three days later in a proposal.

Frequently asked questions

What does MiCode actually do?
We build enterprise software in Java/Spring Boot and Angular, integrate systems over REST APIs, and implement cloud solutions. AI goes inside those systems rather than being a separate service. Alongside that we run six products of our own.
How quickly do I get a quote?
A written scope, timeline, and price within three business days of the intro conversation. That conversation is free and in whatever format suits you.
Why do your own products matter when choosing a contractor?
Because we have had to keep AI systems running after launch, with our own money: work out the monthly cost, survive a model change, decide what a RAG bot does when the knowledge base has no answer. Those are exactly the questions that come up in a client project.
Where can I verify what is written here?
The apps are on Google Play and npm, four products have public GitHub repositories, three have their own sites (ai-budget.pl, eKsiegowyAi.pl, eMarketingAI.pl), and the company data — NIP 5833510147, REGON 528740633 — is in public registers.
